2025 VBSL IMPORTANT DATES
Calendar of Events

Monday, March 3rd: (weather permitting) Turf fields Open. Practices begin for Minor, Major, Pony Baseball, Farm and Junior softball.

Thursday, March 13th: Verona Family Night. No practices.

Monday, March 31st: (weather permitting) Grass fields open. Rookie practices begin.

Saturday, April 5th: 9AM Liberty Field, Opening Day Ceremony and Season Openers.

SPRING BREAK, April 14th - April 21st. Games will be held on April 12th but must be completed before sundown (Passover begins.

Sunday, April 27th: Recreation Pictures – time slots to be announced but will take place 12-5PM.

Friday, May 9th: VHS Baseball Rivalry Game vs. Cedar Grove @ Yogi Berra Stadium. Free admittance for all players wearing a VBSL jersey. Please do not schedule VBSL games or practices this day!

Memorial Day Weekend: May 23rd-May 26th, there will be no recreation games.
About Us
Verona Baseball & Softball League is a non-profit organization operated by a dedicated group of volunteers, whose mission is to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist the development of players in a healthy environment. An environment in which our players can develop an appreciation for physical conditioning, and the skills to compete. In which players can learn an appreciation for sportsmanship, self-esteem, pride, integrity, self-discipline, responsibility, accountability and teamwork.
